Education
The city of Lakewood has established a muddy trail education program at Green Mountain. It includes signs at each trailhead ranking the trails as "red - very muddy", "yellow - muddy, not recommended", and "green - normal conditions". We change the arrows on the signs as conditions change. We have a twitter feed for this program, and other Green Mountain information, and we are trying to get the word out to more people. The twitter feed is @HaydenGreenMtn. Information for Bear Creek and Green Mountain is also posted on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/BearCreekLakePark.
