New Buffalo Creek Trail: First Build Weekend a Success!

If you weren't working on the new black diamond trail at Buffalo Creek with COMBA this weekend you missed out on a great time! We made excellent progress thanks to a turnout of enthusiastic volunteers who were stoked to have a hand in construction of the Front Range's first public, mountain bike-specific, advanced-level trail. The sections built this weekend are going to be a ton of fun to ride, with everything from burly lines to optional drops and rollers to flowy bermed singletrack. The weekend was topped off with rides on some of Buffalo Creek's signature singletrack and a great time around the fire. Thank you to New Belgium Brewery, Moe's Broadway Bagels, the Front Range Mountain Bike Patrol, IMBA, BMA, and the US Forest Service for their generous assistance and donations, and thank you to our volunteers who are making this trail a reality! Be sure to come out and join us again on July 18th- 19th and August 15th-16th for more trail building fun!
