About the event

We're back on the CT and planning several work days including one for the bikepackers.

May 14 - We plan to repair switchbacks & clean drains. You should plan for a 3-4 mile roundtrip hike. Meet at Audobon Society at Chatfield, 11280 Waterton Road, Littleton 80125. We will be escorted up Waterton Canyon by Denver Water, so will meet in the parking lot and carpool up the canyon in as few vehicles as possible. If you would like to ride up the canyon, please let me know and I can provide further instruction. As a reminder, we must all enter and exit the canyon as a group, so if you need to leave early, or come later, biking in is your best bet. No dogs, please. Questions: Kristen's Cell: 970-214-9264

June 4 - We plan on repairing switchbacks & clean drains. Plan for 5-6 mile roundtrip hike. Meet at Colorado Trail South Platte Trailhead, 2707-2765 N Platte River Road, Sedalia 80135. Cell service is spotty, so if you have any questions, please contact Kristen @ 970-214-9264 prior to the work day. No dogs, please.

July 15 - 17 Camping - The plan is to hit the mid-segment and do as much work as we can to get this section in better shape! Ride/hike in Friday late afternoon, camp, leave bikes/gear and work the 5+ miles of the mid-section, return to camp, ride/hike out Sunday (and clean up any drains on our way out) Meet at Audobon Society at Chatfield, 11280 Waterton Road, Littleton 80125. We will meet in the parking lot and bikepack up the canyon and then up the Colorado Trail to our camp spot. If you would prefer to backpack in, come later, or would only like to join for part of the time, please contact Kristen @ 970-214-9264 to work out the details. Please be prepared with your own food, water, gear, etc for a multi-day bikepack/backpack. Not sure what to bring? Just ask! No dogs, please.
