Women's BIPOC + Latinas Mechanics Class

Join us for our women's BIPOC + Latinas mechanics class at evo Denver!!

COMBA mechanics classes are hands-on, small group classes designed to give you the skills & knowledge to work on your own bike. We break into groups of 3-5 based on your desired topic & level, so this class is for all levels. Whether you've never changed a tire or want to learn to bleed your brakes, we got you! Because it's hands-on and a small group, we have limited spots which fill up fast. We'll have pizza, drinks and a give-away with lots of love from our sponsors!

WHAT WE'LL COVER:

• basics

  - how to care for your bike + basic repairs

• shifting adjustments

  - cable tension, b tension, limit screws

• wheels

  - rims, spokes, sealant, tires, tubes, plugs

• suspension

  - set up, pressure, sag, rebound, and when to service

• brakes

  - rotors, pads, fluid, pistons

WHAT TO BRING:

• Something to take notes

• If you want to wrench, don't wear your nicest clothes.

• Bikes: Please feel free to bring your own bike if you want to work on it. Please keep in mind that your bike may be used for demonstrations and/or worked on. If you aren't comfortable with this, don't feel like you have to bring it - we will have demo bikes to use. This class is not intended to fix your bike, but rather give you the skills and empowerment to fix it on your own later, so please leave your specific parts and technical repairs at home.

Noche De Mecánica!

Esta clase de mecánica es una oportunidad para que personas que se identifican como mujeres se reúnan para aprender habilidades básicas de mantenimiento de bicicletas, tanto de carretera como de montaña, ¡lo que prefieras! Nos dividiremos en pequeños grupos de 3-5 personas para que todos puedan practicar con sus bicicletas. Tenga en cuenta que esta clase es para todos los niveles ciclistas. Ya sea que nunca haya cambiado un neumático o desee hacer ajustes del desviador, lo tenemos cubierto.
